Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end in American football, who was a part of the National Football League. He played for 17 years playing on the field. He is considered one of the best tight ends to ever play. Alongside being the league's top receiver for yards and third place in total receptions, Gonzalez also was one of the NFL tight end with the most receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently employed at the studio of FOX. Gonzalez is an anchor for FOX NFL KICKOFF and FOX NFL KICKOFF. FOX NFL KICKOFF is FOX NFL's pregame program that precedes FOX NFLSUNDAY. The show airs at 11:00 am ET on Sundays during NFL season.
Gonzalez signed a new contract for the Falcons to run for two seasons and $11 million on the 15th of March 2013. The signing was in spite of the fact that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire following the football season of 2013. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leader of receiving yards in the last time during his playing career.
